Thanks for the input guys. I think that is what I am going to do. I don't have the necessary vacuum for my power brakes to operate properly. I bought a hydroboost unit but it seems to me that this is overcomplicating things. I don't mind having to use pedal pressure if I just know that I can stop. I'm thinking of using wilwood kits from Corvette Engineering and a Wilwood master cylinder. Anyone know which one is the proper one? They come with different piston sizes

I run the Daytona package and I can lock the wheels at will and that is with Kuhmo Estca's, very sticky tires.
oops I just realised I'm logged in as 427v8 Not Corvette Engineering.
I am both :-D

Thanks Kieth. Do you know which master Cyliner I need? Do you sell these? Are there adapter plates, linkage, or other things needed to do a power to manual conversion?

The next time you come up on a mini-van full of kids with a soccer mom driving and she locks them up to avoid a "poor little squirrel" you're gonna thank Bosh for ABS!

I must have missed something. I don't have antilock brakes now and not planning on putting antilocks on the car. Is this a mod that others are doing??

There is a reason for that

I'va been driving for 32 years (a good bit of this was in cars w/o antilock brakes ) and I haven't rear ended anyone yet. While I agree that there is an advantage to antilock brakes that is not an option here and I really would not understand why manual brakes would be easier to lock than power brakes (pre-antilock).
