Default R-D Racing

Hello, I'm Billie, customer service for R-D Racing. I am new to Corvette Forum. I wanted to let you all know that we are still running; however, our website has been having some technical difficulty, namely, me. I am not much of a "technology" whiz, so I am teaching myself to run a web site. Doesn't seem real difficult, but so far it has proved beyond my expertise. In any event, if you need anything, parts, tech assistance, etc... please call me at 217-259-1728 or email me at r-d_racing@hotmail.com. Thank you for your continued support of R-D Racing. We were sure sorry to see Dave go, but we hope to do as bang up of a job as he did.

Billie,
customer service

Good to see you check in. Many of us here have had great experiences dealing with R-D in the past. The products speak for themselves and I wish you nothing but the best taking up where Dave left off.

Hey Billie. Dave told me there was a company that made brackets to allow the roof to be put in the back of the C4 with the S/T Frame installed. If you have any knowledge of this or can ask Dave I am in interested in buying them. STeve

I have maybe the second set Dave made on my S/T Frame. I put a big wide piece of the fuzzy side of Velcro that is right under the clamp and on the top of the trailing tube member. It keeps the clamp from sliding down the tube and is a cushion for the roof panel to rest on while you fiddle the top into position to start the Trox bolts on the rear of the roof panel. The Velcro pad keeps you from scratching the tube braces. I need three hands to keep the roof panel suspended in position in front of the bracket to get the bolts started without cross threading them. Once the roof panel is secured to the clamp the retention pin at the back of the hatch snaps right into its normal hole at the front edge of the roof panel. Just put your vent kit on the hatch glass to keep it open an inch and half and everything is real secure.

Billie are the prices still the same as the old website? I would like to order a few things this winter or do you have a hard copy of products and prices to mail.

I haven't made any changes to anything just yet. I am still getting acquainted with the way things are run and then I hope to make some adjustments. I can mail out a price list to you if you want to email me your address at r-d_racing@hotmail.com, or I can give you a quote just based on the list of items you need. Whatever is easiest for you, just let me know!
