Default FS: 1998 LS1 engine pull from our LS7 swap

We are selling the LS1 pull from our LS7 swap. The engine was never modified in any way before our radical makeover to the car. It has 40k miles on the clock. The car was a show car and always detailed and kept clean, engine included. Would make a perfect replacement motor or a hot rod transplant.

Included on the engine (off the top of my head) is:

LS1 intake, throttle body, injectors, fuel rails
coil packs, plugs and wires
crank, cam, map, maf sensors
water pump
harmonic balancer
oil pan
motor mounts
fuel rail covers

sorry, no drive accessories are included - we reused 'em

$1500 plus shipping - would prefer local pickup

Any questions, just ask!

Just wondering what parts were needed (not including the LS7) to make the swap work and the cost of the parts. I saw a C5 at a car show with the LS7 and it looked great, the dry sump was in the battery
compartment. Thanks for any info.

Was it at Carlisle? We had ours next to the GM performance parts trailer.

The cost depends on a few things. Performing your own labor? Using GM oil tank and lines? Original PCM or aftermarket EFI controller? There's a few ways to go about it, but we were able to make use of some of the LS1/LS2 conversion adapters (LS2 TB, map, cam, knock) since we reused the original 98 PCM.

As soon as I can get some free time, I'll get a full writeup on the swap. Mark (Hokie) and I are finishing up getting all this LLC stuff worked out for our new business and it seems like it's never ending

The one I saw was at the Auto Fair at Charlotte, it was in a C5 coupe.
After seeing one for myself with the switch, I was wondering what was involved to make it work. I have switched plenty of engines in the past, but never in a C5. A full write up would be great and give me and others thinking on this swap an idea of a way to make it work.
