C6 Low Level Pin-outs
The whole lousy sounding PAC module was bugging me(can you tell?? ) so I spent some time with the SM and a pic I took of the factory harness to decode which wire is which. The top row of wires are A1-A12 and the bottom row are B1-B12. While some of the signal wires share colors they are terminated either in A or B, which lets you identify the wire.
Here's a smaller version, click it for a much larger version.
The pinouts are as follows:
Left Front Low Level - Dark Green A9
Left Front Low Level + Tan A8
Right Front Low Level + Dark Green B11
Right Front Low Level - Light Green B10
Left Rear Low Level - Brown B9
Left Rear Low Level + Brown/White B8
Right Rear Low Level + Dark Blue A11
Right Rear Low Level - Tan A10

this needs to be added to the C6 FAQ, people what this basically allows you to do is splice in rca connectors and have preouts. My question is does this only apply to bose cars?

I REALLY wish just the GM24 cable were available without the OEM-1 box(I asked, it ain't). Really would make for a cleaner, easier install. The problem here is as you can those wires are packed in pretty tight so there's not much in the way of an pretty & convenient way to tap in.
