Vette Doctors C6 Z06 RX750 Heads and Cam+ 640RWHP [VIDEO]
We just finished up one of latest C6 Z06 projects and we are pleased to report we even surpased our expectations! One of our long time clients Davey who we have built many radical rides for wanted something special for his new C6 Z06. Dave wanted a radical Heads and Cam combo with a beefed up short block (he has bigger plans down the road). So we upgraded the rods and pistons (the +). We bumped up the compression and had the pistons thermal coated. We ground a real nice but aggesive cam and did an extensive port and polish job on the heads. We of course added a set of American Racing Headers C6 Z06 Headers keeping the stock Z06 mufflers and finsished it off with a LS7 Edit dyno tune.
With out any break in (see video-Davey does not know how to keep it under 3000 RPM) we pulled 640 RWHP! As the video shows this, thing is a beast! Already Dave is talking about going much bigger with the cam. Here is a video of the car on the dyno and the actual screen of the dyno computer as it registers. Also in the video, you can see Dave is one crazy SOB!
I will have the dyno sheet up later today when I get a chance.

OOFAH!!!
That's truly hard to comprehend that kind of power from a streetable setup.
What was the CR bumped to? The heads were just a clean-up? What does it idle at?
I bet the car could pull an SCCA TransAm car

Wow, I have a couple question's Id like answered. Does this have an underdrive pulley, electric water pump, or anything else? Does it have the stock filter and do the stock mufflers cause it to loose power? Last what price are we talking about?

I wonder how the half-shafts and rear end are going to hold up?
Did you "beef" them up?

Would love to know how much exhaust port flowed?
If these mods are reasonable in cost and do not degrade reliablity too much one would be hard pressed to anti up for the "sting ray/blue devil/gran sport"

Looks powerful enough to break a CV Joint on the 2-3 shift...
