Default Transmission Leak

Hello Folks, I am a new member of the forum and have owned a 2006 Corvette for about 2 weeks and the car has been great. A couple of days ago I discovered that I have developed a transmission fluid leak (6 speed) which is being repaired under warranty. I am curious to learn if any of you C6 owners have experienced this problem and can report the cause. Thanks for any information you can share.

2006 MN6 w/ 5,000 miles & so-far so-good, tighter than a drum. (thank God ).

Sounds like perhaps you simply got nailed by one of those weird things that can go wrong with anything mechanical.

I had the same thing on my 05 Manual. It was a very slow leak but I got it fixed under warranty. No problem with it since then.

I had a small differential seal leak (passenger side) on my 06 MN6. Dealer replaced seals under warranty. A-OK now.
