Default Cleaning a light oak top?

We have a 99 Vert. with a light Oak top. I has small dark round spots that look like they might be mildew. What is the best way to clean a light top like this. I want to be careful and do it right so I can get it clean and not damage the top. Can a diluted bleach solution be used?

No I haven't tried anything yet. I have only washed the car with a good grade of car wash soap. I thought I'd ask to see what others are using that have more expirence than me.
