Too many family obligations. Doug and I are trying to work this out since it would be the first time with the 10 rib and smaller pulley. I spoke to Ned and he said we are good to go in the extreme street class provided we swap the tires to a skinnier set. We have another set of 28 inch hoosiers that are OK.
Darn it Edgar - If you would have come to Beaver springs - we could have gotten you flight checked in Blue.
Not looking good.

Can't wait, I have had only 2 passes all season.
Should be a fun weekend.
**If anyone has a 3 series rear case for sale, I don't car what shape the gears are in or what size, please let me know**

Hi REDGAR.
Are any schedule details available on the sequence of events for Saturday. Found none on the Cecil site nor the ASCC site.
I'm trying to line up with a particular fast near-stock Viper for a match race at some point. That would best be done during open time trials.
I seem to remember reading of the V-V at Atco that the schedule was really congested.
Will there be open time trials on Saturday morning?
TIA,
Ranger

Ranger, sorry about those sites not have all the info.
The most info is at Nsca-racing.net but I will save you the search.
8 am Gates open
8 am tech opens
9 am to 11:30 open time trials. These do NOT count as qualifying runs
12 pm 1st round of qualifying
3 pm 2nd round of qualifying
6 pm 3rd round of qualifying
7 pm 1st round of American Super Car eliminations
All times are subject to change of course.
qualifying has three hour windows but I have never seen it take that long
I presume you guys will sign up for ASC Genuine 11.50 class. I do hope you stay for eliminations too.
As Paul said, we can get Ned to set up the grudge either during open time trials or during any of our qualifiers or after our elimins. I will let him know you guys are planning to grudge, can suggest when you want to do it.

I suspect that we'll want to run during the open time trials. I'll check with the other party in this grudge match and let you know.
Many thanks,

My car may be two tenths faster, but Wanted (his screen name) is better on the tree, since I'm not really a racer.
The rules of the match race are:
Each driver takes the average of two (or three) passes. Closest to the index wins. My index is 11.31; his is 11.55. So we are measuring consistency rather than first to the stripe.

Oh, cool. I still think one true heads-up race would be in order anyway Wanted has an advantage on the tree but your car is quicker so it may be pretty close.

Yo Ed..
A. If you go under 11.50 I assume you are thru, right?
Can you run UNDER 11.50 & while other guy red lights?
B. Can I put weight in my car to slow down?
Any rules regarding that?
C. Qualifing means a run 11.50 or slower right?
Thanks..
