Logjam's iPod to stereo interface for the Z
I know the iPod to stereo has been discussed a bunch.
I don't know if this is a dupe, hope not.
Logjam now has an interface for the '05-'06 Vettes.

It just amazes me that the auto manufacturers haven't adopted a factory installed iPOD interface. BMW is the only one I'm aware of, but there may be others.
Thanks for posting this. I'll be installing one.

I got an online survey from XM a few weeks ago and one of the questions was whether or not I was aware that GM would soon be offering auxillary inputs in their full line of vehicles. They also asked if I felt that this would be a useful feature.
I cant say when its coming, but that survey led me to believe that the Corvette would have it soon.

Here is the Logjam Tech's response: "The only iPOD interface that we know of to work in the '06 Corvette with nav is the Neucleus NC-X2i. It will give you an iPOD interface and an auxiliary input. You will also need the NC-32T cable, which is included with the price of the product."
You may monitor http://logjam.d3datasolutions.com/fo...5&st=0&p=2610& for a response to this question. Later, dofdear

Its easily done. 4 screws, pull up and the pressure snaps undo, now unplug the electrics.

Wanted to correct my previous post: You may not control an iPOD via the NAV.....
As for installation I assume you need to remove and reinstall the head unit but before I would do anything I'd review the instructions for the Logjam cbundle and components. If the head unit is R&R'ed I'm not sure what that entails but understand it is not that difficult. I'd refer to a service manual if you could get one.... Maybe another CF member has done this procedure and can advise.

By the way the screws are located,
2 under the eliptical panel where the ride selected switch or where the LG exhaust switch is. and 2 on the passenger side under the emergency brake boot.

BlaznZ06, In an earlier post you refered to "Pac stuff" and I believe you mentioned it required some wire changes. What are the details regarding the parts and what is the scope of wire changes? Are the installation instructions complete? Also, besides the ability to use the NAV touch screen to control the iPOD, will this set-up charge the iPOD? Thanks, dofdear
