Default ECS Paxton Stage 1 346 results 746/637 Hp/Tq

I figured I would post this since it seams to be the most popular package that we do, being that it is the most cost effective way to make over 800hp.
The mods are as follows;
ECS PAXTON kit with the eight rib upgrade
ECS 04 fuel system
ECS alky kit, dual nozzle
Forged rods
forged pistons
longtube headers
gauges-boost/fuel
ECS blower cam with double roller timing chain
Comp 921 springs
ARP studs

The rest of the car is 100% stock, including the non ported LS6 cylinder heads. That is also through the stock cat back and cats . This car is so stealthy, a passanger in the car would not think much of it.... untill you layed into it.

Chris, can you post the price of this exact set up, installed, tax, out the door. I think it would help a lot of people who are sitting on the fence.

750 hp with the Stage 1 .. I'm afraid to even ask about Stage 2 or 3.

How much boost?

Great job guys.

Mark

I agree! You won't be able to hook that much! Tell me, all in, how much for this kit?

Off the top of my head I estimated $14K in parts and another $3K in labor.

That is bargain basement for the level of power you're delivering. My TT on high boost doesn't make as much power, and cost an extra 10K! I got ya on torque down low though! Still - awesome package! I still got to get over to you guys with my TT for an alchy kit! 1K installed?

CHIRS,

That is AWESOME BRO and congrats!! You guys keep on lifting the bar higher and higher. I would estimate that this bad boy is running about 14 lbs of boost?

KEEP up the great work!!

This is a kick-*** kit guys! Correct me if I'm wrong Chris, but this is the exact kit that went in mine right? Strange though that my torque is significantly lower. Does that have anything to do with the cam used in mine? God knows, mine makes plenty of power. Although, an extra 50 rwhp and 90 rwtq would be nice!

Thats exactly the difference Mark,
Since Nat has the 6 rib belt we went with the 3.50" pully that comes with the base kit and removed the restictor plate to bring him to 695 rwhp I think. This car has the 8 rib and a 3" pully which we have found to be ultra reliable and naturally raises torque and HP across the board. I think Nat's car make 12ish lbs of boost while this one makes 14 peak. (maybe time for an eight rib Nat)

You know what I want.

Just how small can we go with the 10 rib?

How are you fitting a 10 rib? The 8 rib looked like a tight fit.

Wow, I wish I had the money for that. If I could afford FI, this is the way I would go. Congrats on the results.

I cant give all my secrets out Mark!
The ten rib is for hardcore boost junkies (like Asmokegars)
It requires the abs block to be moved forward which is easy or removed all together for race car use. The rack is close but we came up with a fix for that, and with our new 8" balancer, the front of the balancer is very flat unlike stock or an ATI so it increases clearance. I'll put up pics of my car with it soon, I'm waiting for one more pully to come. Luckily there are belts made the same size in the ten rib from Gates.
I have already ran Alan's car with a 2.75" pully and an eight rib to the 9.33 pass,(my car as well) but belt life was about 8 all out runs. Although thats not to bad for low nines, I want to get super reliability out of it so the ten rib came to mind. We have found that we can go over and over with the three inch pully and an eight rib with zero issues. We are hoping/assuming we will get the same from the 2.75" and a ten rib.
Did someone say 20+lbs of boost??
