Default Service ABS Service Traction

Last night i was taking off from work. Went aound a 30MPH corner at about 50-60MPH. Then ther service ABS and Track light comes on. I can shut the car off, reset the code, Start the car and it will stay off till i start to roll. Any ideas? Could my breaks be low? would that cause this? Im tires of looking at the damn ABS light.....

There is a module in front of the left side of the engine between the engine and the radiator called the Electronic Brake Control Module or EBCM. It may be going bad. Mine did at 26k miles. They list for $900 but I got one from GMPartsDirect.com for a little over $600 with shipping.

Hey guys, mine did this too, just last night. I hit a bump on the Interstate at about 75mph. It went away when i turned the car off but i havent driven it since. Is there anything else that would cause it other than the ECBM??????
Thanks for the help

Wrong forum. I hate C1214. I had to replace the EBCM in my car with 52K on the clock.

I had continuous C1214 that would not clear. I took the EBCM out and burnished (scraped) the contacts with a file and then put it back in the car. So far, no problems. I'm going to drive it 60-70 miles round trip tomorrow. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I got a used one off a 01Z06 repo for $200. I put the one out of mine in that repo and it started to throw C1214. Put the one from the repo in mine and my car was happy again.

Well, it failed. I'm trying to buy the used EBCM I found at Gene's Kar Shop. I hope he still has it.
