Default The Grond Chronicles : ECS Paxton Supercharger Install Part II [56k Anguish]

For those of you that have been following my exploits (and many mistakes), I started tuning my newly supercharged C5 on Sunday. After a fair bit of research (and a bunch of books I bought some months ago), I took it out for a quick shakedown run today.

Closed course, professional driver etc. Cruising along at 45mph, hit less then 1/2 throttle, I flash the stall to 3600rpm - hit 5lb of boost - and the next thing I know, the rear tires light up and my HUD is reading 95 (kilometres per hour of course )

The PermaGrin(tm) on my face is priceless

As I get this thing dialed in, I'll keep you all updated. Right now I am only running 12 degrees of timing.

For reference, the ECS Paxton Supercharger Install Part I is here

EG

What an awesome mod, Stephen! Now, that is quite an enhancement to the engine bay. And, your new found performance will be exhilirating, to say the least! Well done!

EG, the first thing that I pictured when I saw this was the three butterfly's on the intake of a top mount screw-type supercharger.... Pretty funny how that happened to fit right it with "your doings" these days...

But "professional driver"?

Very nice. What are your plans for the brakes to make Grond come to a halt just as quickly?
