Default Houston Doctor

Well I havent heard anyone else talk about him so I dont know if anyone else has delt with him but I had one very good experience with "The Corvette Doctor"

1330 Sherwood Forest St # 207, Houston, TX
(713) 973-0211

If you have a C4 or older car hes a great guy to visit, Im fairly certain he will work on newer cars but I didnt see any at his shop last time, and didnt think to ask.

Had my Long Tube headers installed today at RPM Motorsports in Lewisville, Tx and their Tech Silas Garcia did a nice job. He was very knowledgeable and thorough.

Default Scotty's Southwest Corvettes

I haven't had much work done here yet, but this place is great! They changed the oil and transmission fluids as well as fixing the oil gage... The quote my husband Jon got from the owner when walking back to the office to wait was "hey, this isn't my shop, it's yours...go hang out with your car, look around, talk to the mechanics..." We are ordering the Corsa this weekend and will have them put it on.... This shop specializes in Vettes only and was full of some awesome cars...Very good installs, great prices...

Just thought I would put it out there for everyone who likes to keep an eye on the car as the work gets done, this is the place to go!

My husband Jon said Scotty and the mechanic Johnny are real nice to work with!

Jeff's Auto Body
6614 N Lamar Blvd
Austin, TX 78752
(512) 452-3373

Took our GMC Denali there for some pretty major body work. We were crunched for time and they had the truck ready when they said they would. They were very professional, paint matched perfectly and easy to work with and deal with. Wish we would have taken the Vette there when it had it's boo-boo!

Default Alignment in DFW

Ruf in Carrollton for alignment... I'd heard lots of good things about them and while they are pricy, they consult with you instead of just looking up specs in a book. They also ENCOURAGE you to hang in the shop and watch the work being done.

First class operation.

For exhaust work on the North side of Houston (Spring/Woodlands), try Gene at American Muffler (URL below). He recently purchased a 77 4-speed Vette and we practically became friends from the first time we met. 28 years of experience and very nice guy. Tell him Brandon (with the blue 72 LT-1 convertible) sent you.

Rich's Performance Muffler (RPM) on Commerce Street in Wylie. Also does alignments. Has done work for me 4 times on 2 vehicles, and a friends '69 Mach 1. Does quality work and it's not unusual to see a high-dollar street rod there getting custom work done.

I have gone to this shop a couple times. Always done right the first time, and the price is fair.

Do you think this guy would also be good at installing headers? I'm thinking of some long tubes for my Z16..

Default Quality Motorsports

They did awesome work on my heads and cam install the first time,
So i wanted to use them again. I had transmission and clutch problems from the last instalshop that led them. No one on the boards could figure out what was wrong with my car by the symptoms i discribed.
I took it to two transmissions shops and still no idea what was wrong.
So i called Patrick at quality motorsports and told me he wanted to test drive my car. He drove it the car for 2 minutes and told me what was wrong. He was 100% right, gave me a fair price and fixed all the extra problems with quick turn around time.

Highest quality of work and very attention to detail.

Default Texas Drivetrain Performance

I had Jason at Texas Drivetrain rebuild my tranny. He did a great job, very fast turn around (one day ) and the best pricing I found in Dallas. He came very highly recommended to me and I will recommend everyone I know to him. He is in Fort Worth and his # is 817-300-6840. If you need any drivetrain work done at all, I would highly recommend you giving him a call.
