Default RPM tap possible on OBDII, harness, or ECM??

I recently puchased a TraqMate data logger and would like to add the ability to record RPM if it's relatively easy (i.e. no FW penetration or PCM access required).

My searches of the forum so far have not yielded a good method for the C5, so if anyone's done this for a shift light or data logger, especially if you've got a TraqMate recording RPM, please share any advice you can offer.

Thanks.

Jim

I can record and display with my AutoEnginuity setup. They have a product for PDA's too, all through the OBD port. You can have RPMS display numerically, graphically or both and record for later playback

Thanks Dougbfresh, but I'm not sure if this helps or not. Do you end up with a wire that might plug into the TraqMate RPM input, or just a boxed solution for recording RPM off of OBD port? Here is a link to the accessory from track-systems I think I want to connect with:

RPM tap from the PCM should be pin 10 on the 'red' connector . . . it's a white wire.
Seems to be working as it should with a G2X.

hope it helps
