Default 531+ rw hp Thanks to JP @ 21C Muscle

many thanks to john page at 21st century muscle cars. they helped us get 531 rw hp out of the Z06 today. this is with LG headers AND cats. we added the 21C air induction upgrade after the dyno tune so i think it should re-dyno in the 535-540 rw hp range. the car is very driveable and very fast. many thanks for the great pricing and service from john and kerry page. ive known them for a long time and have done some work for them in the past. this is the first time they have done work for me and i am very impressed. they are highly recommended. the Lingelfelter blood line continues to set the standard in corvette performance.

Now you're fishing with the right bait. Very few street cars can hang with you now.

Why not state that in the opening thread instead of misleading us and setting the stage for naive props?

LOL, your joking right? You mislead yourself into thinking it had just headers / tune.

Nice #'s, what are the cam specs?

No, I'm not joking. Just read the early threads. BTW, why would you say nice numbers without knowing the cam specs when others have gotten a lot more (with aggressive cams)? And while you're at it, please tell me what's so impressive about adding 35hp to what others have accomplished without opening up the engine and without disassembling the heads. Would you do cam and springs for 35hp?

Congrats Tx Tuna. Yes, please re-dyno and adjust after the Air-Charger" install for best results. You should see high 530's if not 540. This is real horsepower and not an off-the wall big rwhp claim.

My personal Z feels great, two weeks after 21st tune, install of the Vette Dr's headers and Air-Charger; I'm still smiling at the very smooth and very liveable power gain this car has.

Keep us posted.

Hello RoHo, I made 501.5/477 to the wheels. If you like, feel free to call 21st Century (972) 417-7177 for more details. Or, you could call The Vette Dr's (631) 841-0779, Paul Major has pretty much the same set up and he is pushing close to 510 to the tires

Remember, neither one of us have any head work or a cam! ...NOT YET

Hyhardtop,
didn't you dyno 480 + rwhp stock? I think you were 476 here on my dyno stock.

Lg

PS, Tuna, Great gains, and I am sure a nice car to drive. I appreciate that you and John picked our LG Headers. Thanks

They are nice gains, thats why I said nice numbers. As for all your other noise, keep that ridiculous crap to yourself.

No, I dyno 462 or so when everyone else was cranking out 440's to mid 450's. My 480's and change was with the air-charger and tune. Then 501.5 with the VD's LT headers!

I think you are reffering to Andi, he also drives a BLK Z06

Now I need more. MUCH MORE

Great response. One purpose of this forum is to exchange ideas and experiences and not get crapped on by people like you. If at least several owners have achieved 500rwhp without incuring the cost and/or work involved in changing the cam, I think it's legit to question whether it's worth a cam/springs change for 35hp. Given the gains other owners have experienced, I disagree that those are nice numbers for the effort involved. If I'm off base, I'm willing to listen to reasonable responses.

Why HELL yea, you forgot about TORQUE. Just to hear that cam hit a lick at a traffic light is worth it and you act like 35RWHP is not alot, thats hugh when your talking about a 3,100lbs car. I want to know the tq figures. LPE is on the ball, always has always will.
