Black Modded '91 F/S
Well, it is with heavy heart I consider selling my Vette. I'm a junior in college, the car is in my father's name, and as I approach graduation and the realization of how much money it will cost me to own the car, and with what the car needs now, I'm kind of boned.
The car:
1991 Coupe. 48,xxx miles on the odometer.
ZF6
Black on Red Leather interior
Stock wheels and GS wheels.
Paint 8 out of 10, several flaws.
Interior 7 out of 10, driver side bolster wear and faded carpet. Some interior has been swapped out for black pieces (door panels, some plastic trim).
Custom stereo that will remain mostly intact. I will be removing one amp and the subs. The CDT Component system, headunit, and amp will stay. Great sound.
Motor:
Comp ported 113 heads, flow is 255 intake, 202 exhaust. I don't have the flow sheet.
LPE 219 cam
CC Pro Mag 1.6 RRs
Edlebrock big mouth ported to 1204 gaskets
Superram intake/runners
58mm TB
Hooker 2151s, Ceremic Coated Inside and Out. Look brand new still.
Full 3" custom exhaust, magnaflow mufflers.
No emissions on the car.
The downside:
The car was stolen from the previous owner and the majority of the interior was stripped. The odometer was taken, and it was given a salvage title with mileage unknown. When you carfax the car though, the milage is consistant until it was stolen, then the last known mileage was used. This was within 6 months time, so the mileage cannot be more than 6 months worth of driving off.
The motor needs to be reringed. It blows oil on hard acceleration, but still pulls strong. It can easily be driven as is without issue. Car made 288hp, 330tq on a mustang dyno as it sits. I believe it would've made more as it peaked at only 4800rpm and similiar setups continue to pull up to 5800rpm.
Antenna is broken (I never listened to the radio)
Might need other minor wear parts.
I do get a ton of complements on the car though, and if it weren't for the fact that I can't afford it, I'd keep the damn thing forever. That is not an option, however.
Plenty more pictures here:

I will consider serious offers. I have quite a bit into the car, but will not give it away. A mechanic would be in heaven with this car. Unfortunately, I'm not one and I cannot afford the labor cost which is required.
Thanks

Thanks guys. When I woke up, to be honest, the first thing I did was get depressed remembering I posted it.
I may still end up keeping it, but. We'll see.

If I were to guess I would say a strong hint is ZF6 in his original post.
If I were to guess I would say a ZF6 came with a D44.
If I were to guess I would say the gears are 3.45.
These are all guesses as I don't know what a ZF6 means.

Although I've never taken my gears apart, stock '91 ZF6 gearing is 3.45 and I have no reason to believe they've been modded.
