You're in San Antonio right. I showed up after you in my z and they were still talkin about you...I ended up "talking" with that yellow viper that talked to you.

Those numbers sound consistent for a stocker with that many miles.

Yeah mines red...no i didnt dyno it, i figured since you did earlier in the day there wasnt really any reason to do mine. Since i could guess within 5hp/tq what it woulda done. Although mine does have 5k miles as opposed to the 400 yours has.

I am wondering if anyone has dynoed their car with just enought to break it in then at 5 + miles.....May be interesting to see if there is a differrence.....Clearly care has to be take to run both tests under similar conditions on the same CALIBRATED dyno

I did that on my 2001 Z06...four times across 20K miles. The SAE numbers varied by under 1%. What did change, however, is the driver component as I accumulated seat time.

I have heard that the computer doesnt actually open (if you will) and leans the car out a little.my 04 felt alot different after the 2k mark, but never re dyno'd it. but I find it pretty amazing that the new Z06 has more rwhp than my 05 had with the LG killer motor cam, heads, headers, high flow cats, corsa, calloway honker, and LG's tune..it dyno'd at 438 rwhp.!!

Actually no, it isn't put on by the Vette club, just some local enthusiasts (sort of.. I'm from Victoria and we might have a few show up from Houston this time!) who like to cruise and enjoy the company of other Vette lovers. This will actually be only our second cruise, but after being in the first I am going to try and make as many as I can!!

Those numbers are weak, especially if your car is a mn6. Those mods are coming in at 470 rwhp on average on most cars, and with the so-called killer cam I would expect even more.

LG has a cam, header, tune set up that is getting 440 rwhp on the ls2. Thats with no heads and no Honker. There getting z-o6 power with limited mods.

Maybe your dyno was having a bad day

Depends which cam, G5X3 cam and AFR heads and I might agree. Still stout numbers nonetheless

I saw the #'s on a silver Z06 that was dyno'd with about 750 miles on it. 475RWHP with the air cleaner and 485 with out. The tuner even said it was the highest stocker he had seen so far.
