Default Where's the April "Tail of the Dragon" Sticky?

We need to get a thread going about the mid April "Tail of the Dragon" run. It's just not cutting it up in the
"Save the Dragon Sticky".

Hey Jackdaroofer, I'm hearing the Hoiday Inn in Cherokee April 14th, 15th, & 16th???

Word on the street is that the NSX's may be tagging along again!

A FEW TEASER PICS FROM THE LAST TRIP!

Didn't know we had a big following

Dave, Jerry, me (bad english) and I think Ben, are booked at the Holiday Inn Cherokee (not the one on the reservation) for April 14, 15 and 16 (Friday sat and Sun?) with a return home on Monday.

Plan is the same as last year..Sat leave motel around 6am (sharp), breakfast at Burger King, drive down to Franklin, pick up 128 for the run up to the dragon, probably do the Dragon twice then head to Robbinsville and the Cherohola to Tellico plains then 360 to 411 and then back to the dragon, down 128 and to the hotel

Sunday, simil;ar trip, looking for some different roads around tellico plains

seeya

My SO3 Pole Positions won't have the nubs still on them like in October, but they will have plenty of life left in them. I should have a few more goodies on by the run in April...

I hear my C6 Z06 shocks came in the mail today! I also have to get the new Slotted/Drilled Rotors & Z06 Pads on and I'll be all set!

I don't want to have a repeat of FELNG8's brake issue after the Dragon Run last time!

I'm doing the J55 upgrade, got the caliper and rotor installed on the left today. Tomorrow I do the rest. Won't have this problem again!

What's a little driving without brakes?

I had some brakes by the time we reached 411.

I'm probably coming. A portion of the NSX'ers are bucking the idea of going Easter weekend though.

I may be the only one.

Hey Ben

I can understand, easter is kind of a family thing, especially if families get together

But it is kind of traditional with Dave, Jerry and I to do it on Tax weekend...do you think I can get someone to move easter? I sure can't move tax weekend!!!

Hope to seeya there

Yeah I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to be able to make the run Easter weekend as well. I didn't realize it, really really disappointing considereing what a great time I had last time.

I guess we'll be running it the weekend after with the NSX's if worst comes to worst. I guess we could always come up just for the day on Sat 15th! Being right out of Charlotte has it's advantages when it comes to running the Dragon!

!DAY TRIP!

I'll be in the dog house if I skip town on Eatser to go speeding through the country. I'd just assume go the weekend after. Maybe I'll pay my taxes the weekend after as well....

Please don't make the "three musketeers, Dave Jerry and I out to be heathens Jerry is jewish , I am "uncommitted" and I never asked Dave"

I can understand how many of you can't make it, but we really can't go the next weekend because that is too close to Semi Annual Skyline Cruise...plus it has become a tradition...drain your bank account to pay your taxes and then start over with a Dragon run

It is a kind of an anti tax antidote Get's your mind off the fact that the Government just took most of what you made and didn't do a thing do deserve it.

Our reswrvations are in at the Holiday Inn (old) Cherokee
