Safety Car
Thanks for sharing the pics in all 3 threads. I can't help but wonder if my '80 is among some of the cars in those pics. My car was built around July of 1980.

Interesting pics. Thanks!
Looks like the rear suspension was assembled separately and then bolted on as a unit.
Funny seeing how big the door gap is in the last pic. Quality is job one... no that was Ford...
Also noticed there are no center caps on the wheels. Were they shipped in the car and installed during dealer prep?

I think the foam on the front bumpers in the last pic is pretty funny.
Those are some great pics. I'll definatly be going back and saving them all myself. Where did you come up with them? And thanks for letting me know you posted them.

I think the first shot of the body drop is probably my car. It is a red 1980 L-82 and the tank sticker hanging over on the front of the tank looks to be in the right position. Now If I could just zoom in on the sticker to read the numbers.... JK.
EDIT: Some of these pix show what looks like early december 1980 date codes on the chassis and what looks like L-81 engines so I think they must be pictures of 1981 year model Corvettes.
I need to find the other 2 sets and add those to my collection too. Great pix either way!
-Mark.

Jack...
In this same "General" section. I couldn't post nearly 30 pics in a single message...had to break them up. They are labeled (part 1, part 2 and part 3).
Jeff...
I found them on ebay several months ago... purchased and have had them in my office since. Found them while cleaning up today and decided to post.

should be pretty easy...30 minutes on it.. form is the hardest part along with what to put in and what to leave out! you wouldn't happen to have a picture of the front of the building, would ya?
