The Grond Chronicles : The Last Mod Party Part II (Jan 7th)
All,
I will be having the second half of my last "Mod Party", before I move to Florida. For various reasons, I have not gotten back to finishing the cam fix repair (getting my house ready for sale!)

When? this coming Saturday - January 7th
Start time? 11am
Location? East Lyme, Connecticut (South East Shoreline close to the casinos)

Main "Mod" : Reassembling my completely ripped apart front of my LS1. This is to fix a noise from the front of the engine that appeared after the monster cam install this past July. We suspect the timing chain so a new LS2 timing chain is going in and everything being buttoned back up and fired up
So if you want to see a naked LS1, now is your chance.
Other mods can be done depending on weather and complexity. If it's not too cold, mods like lowering is an easy one.
I have a 175,000BTU space heater so the garage will be nice and toasty - but it will be somewhat tight quarters because although it's a 2 car garage, the garage door will be closed if it's too cold.
So, if you don't mind the 'bonding' thing, come one and come all. All good and true souls are very welcome. Outside will be cold be we will be warm in the garage.
I will supply ample pizza and soda as usual. (Sorry, all the beer went to deserving homes :bb )
So far Connecticut and Bill Curlee said they will come over. Bill's coming to make sure his new engine is buttoned up right (j/k)

I can't make it...but sure sounds fun! But, what's all this talk about if it's too cold? Today was too hot....i was sweating most of the day while installing the new street version of the LG's on JchrisF's car...man, what a nice set of headers!

WOW.. no Wonder EG is moving to Florida... Did you see how much Sunnier it was there... It looked dark in Connetticut but yet in Florida, the sun is shining brightly... WOW!!!
Hey Stephen, I'd love to make the drive out to the "Far East" but it's not in my schedule right now... I just need to convince the wife we need to to go the Cruise in this May...
