relax guys I am not criticizing anybodies elses choices of finishes only posting my choice. Nor did I ask anybody else if they like zaino or rejex. Personlay I think you can get a nice effect with all of them inpart it is personal taste and experience. There is probably a difference in longevity as well. From what I have heard rejex does not last as long as Klasse or Zaino. Between the two it is probably a toss up for longevity. I started with Klasse and like the look and application process. One of these days I will try zaino but it is a pita because you have to purchase the whole system which is expensive just to try it out. I did get a gift certificate for 25 inthe Zaino give away here on the forum so it is a start. Well off to see King Kong this afternoon

I would not use Klasse All-in-One under any circumstances, as the manufacturer claims that it will remove oxidation and swirl marks without being an abrasive. That's not possible, so I wouldn't trust a manufacturer that represents a product like that. German origin does not guarantee superiority.

I didn't see where anyone criticized you for using Klasse, actually several people said your car looked good, which it does. They were replying and posting their personal preferences the same as you did.
As for Zaino being a "pita" because you "have" to purchase the whole system as you stated above, nothing is further from the truth. I used to think the same thing. I tried rejex and was pretty happy with it. Then I tried Zaino. For my needs, Zaino was the better product.
You already have a 25 dollar gift certificate, I would give Zaino a try. I would bet you'll like the way your car looks afterwards.
As for what you actually need product wise. If your car has minor scratches and swirl marks, I would get the Z-5 and the Z-2. Of course don't forget to get the ZFX accelerator so you won't have to wait in between coats. If you're finish is in great condition without scratches and swirls, you won't need the Z-5. If you like it, then you can get the QD spray and other items they offer.
Hope this information helps.

I do not think that you could layer Rejex on top of AIO or visa versa since they both seem to be high solvent type products IMHO and probably do not layer well. I would use one or the other.
dashotgun, congrats on the win, you are going to love the Zaino.

in all fairness to RejeX, and in spite of the comment to the contrary, it layers quite well.
any comments?

thank you for your post, and your recommendation. i will take great heed of your advice.
i've sent you a PM,,,
awaiting your very specific reply.
as for the comments regarding Zaino, Sal Zaino has graciously called and has given me the information i was hoping to get from agentf1. as it turns out, there's not much difference between how RejeX and Zaino are viewed in terms of shipping regulations, VOC-compliance, health & safety, etc. i will admit that he did say that his product compariable to RejeX has a lower distillate content. thus, RejeX does have a 'relatively' higher content. all in all, we had a very good conversation. great stories, Sal. thanks!
