Had a sensor go out in the steering wheel ( active handling ) and the dreaded fuel level sensor in the gas tank . Happy otherwise .

Let's see...only 300 miles, so take it for what it's worth, but so far:

No break squeal (Z51)
No orange peel (black)
No cloudy wheels (polished aluminum)
No squeaks or rattles
Fit and finish - great

The only thing I would comment on is the manual shift is a little clunky (how's that for a scientific term), it does not smoothly enter into second or third gear. I am still in the break in period, so I am shifting at lower rpms than I normally would, so hopefully, this will be a thing of the past when I can start shifting more aggessively.

All and all, I couldn't be happier with this car.

Oh, one small (very, very small) annoyance...if you try to personalize the greeting, it takes forever!!

I've had the car since 10/04. I had the radio replaced for the muting issue, I opted to have the DEW installed on the crank pulley, and I also went for the Z51 brake pad TSB. Other than that, the car has been rock solid with no rattles, excellent build quality, and a really smooth transmission. Unfortunately I recently got hit with DBS, which has shaken my confidence a bit. If the DBS bug doesn't bite again, I'll still say the car has been essentially trouble free. If DBS reappears, I'll just go to a priority start system until there's a TSB out.

Muting radio replaced and shifter replaced (free) by the dealer. Total of 2 C6s and 10,000 miles.

Nearly every electrical problem in the book except for DBS since it is an A4, plus the erratic fuel gauge and a grinding noise coming from the diff gear. 10 visits to the shop for 53 days. I just got her back today after spending 9.5 days in the shop.

Problems were not mechanical. Had a blemish on the dash and the leather on the steering wheel got rough and cracked. Dealer replaced the dash and the steering wheel with no hassle.

Man, what a lemon! I can't imagine how frustrated you must be.

With me '06, 3K miles, no problems.
