Interesting how the 0-60 time is one of the lowest I've seen, yet the 1/4 time is a few tenths off. Obviously launching the car with no problem. Where are the fractions lost in the 1/4......shifting?

I think the super tall gearing is responsible for that, 0-60 is 1st gear and trapping at 125 should produce a lower E.T..(which shorter gears would do assuming you could get traction )

Holy ****!! 0-60 in 3.4 now??? Goddamn it drops behind in 0-100 from MT's claim 7.5 to 7.7 and the quarter mile time. what cud of caused this? AWESOME NUMBERS!!!!!

Holy ****, unbelieveable numbers. My buddy who sold his GT2 recently and got a C6Z06 says that the Corvette feels quicker.

after doing 3.4 from 0-60, he had to stop to change his pants and from then on it was "easy does it"

With these Z06 numbers, I cannot even imagine what the Blue Devil might do!

I havent seen it, but it might be Willow Springs, those times sound like pretty good times for either car at that track. Very respectable. Props to the Z06. Time to modify the coupe

3.4 for 0-60 is best I've seen yet. Someone at C&D can drive afterall.

And Z outbrakes the Viper by good margin.

As one who would own both cars if I had the cash, Road and Track gets about the same numbers for the F430, though curiously it only traps around 120 in the 1/4. What's great about the Z06 is you are getting these numbers with a traditional manual gearbox. And for the price, it's the hands down winner.

But since di Montezemolo took over, Ferrari isn't a company to rest on it's laurels. No doubt there will be a soon be a faster version of the 430 just as they did with the 360 (e.g., Stradale version).
