If its true, I'd hate to see Dave Hill go, but a guy that races his car on the weekends can be all bad.

That's amazing, he didn't mention a thing to me at dinner last night. He did make me pick up the check though, should have realized that he now has a retirement income I learned a long time ago that we can all be easily replaced--e

If you read the book "All Corvettes are Red," it becomes really clear how much we owe the survival of the Corvette to Mr. Hill. All of us can be replaced...........however, we are losing a real connection to the history if this is really happening.

After overseeing the design and building of possibly the best Corvette ever, the C6 Z06, how can you one-up yourself?

I'd hate to lose him though! Met him once or twice, super nice guy.

What a way to retire, though. You build your dream car and go out on a high note. Sounds like a plan to me.

Wasn't Mr. Hill already in his mid-to-late 60s, too?

Unless dave mclellan was only C4, each VLE/chief eng has had 2 generations, I really didn't expect hill to be VLE through the C7.

Tom does have sme big shoes to fill though. Good luck to him.

I was hoping the Assistant Chief Engineer for Corvette, Tadge Juechter, would replace David.
