Default Baer Eradispeed Rotors Install, MN6/F55/pix

I did it.....

Rear before

Rear after

Front before

Front after

Rear before (please excuse the dirt/rust... it will get cleaned up)

Caliper extender bracket

Caliper extender bracket installed, note the brake cooling duct, I didn't know the stock C6 had rear cooling ducts... I don't remember them on my C5... but then at my age the memory... what was I saying again?

Rotor installed

Best of all, my personal mechanic. In Wisconsin law enforcement is very service oriented

A final note, both of my front brake cooling ducts were misalinged, the right one missed the air scoop opening completely, the left was about half way off.

I had the Baer rotors on my Cobra. Fantastic product. Make sure you opt for the zinc coating. This prevents them from ever rusting. I may eventually switch out my Z51 rotors for a set of these. They are a quality product!

Great information.
Any links on where you got them from and/or price?

How about another question?

How do the new brakes feel/work compared to stock?

Rotors will not change the brake feel much if any. Tires or pads make a much bigger difference. My '05 has stock rotors but I swapped the stockers out for aftermarkets on my Z28.

I ordered the +1's (two piece, aluminum hub, two inch larger diameter rear rotor) from PFYC... $999 plus $14.22 shipping to WI.

PFYC Baer page

I should add that their online help was great... Last Thursday I typed a few questions, got immediate "chat type" responses. One of my questions was about compatibility with the F55 suspension. It required the guy helping me to contact Baer, he did that and Emailed an answer to me within 15 minutes. I ordered 'em and had them on the car by Monday evening (with the help of the Wisconsin State Patrol).
