Default All my toys (pre-Rita)

While preparing the garage for hurricane Rita, I had all my toys lined up outside at once, the whole scene kind of cracked me up. So, I snapped these pictures. Kind of made me realize what the meaning of "excess" is.

No, no Ferrari's, maybe in a few years or after I win the lottery!

Default you can't post that way

All you have done is post the location of your photos in your hard drive. WE can't get to them. Try again, I'm sure we'd like to see.

I'm struggling... give me a minute to figure this out. Not intuitive.

We'd love to see them but the images need to be posted to an internet server. Your internet provider probably gives you some space and a tool for uploading to their server.

Looks like I got it!

Sorry, first time to post pics... the preview doesn't really give you a clue whether you did it the right way or not.

Now that I understand, more pics should be coming!

Great stable, Sliver...but tell us, what's the most fun to drive? Inquiring minds want to know.

You know what it is, Harry.... the Corvette, of course!

The custom Dyna Low Rider and the '69 Firebird aren't too shabby on nice days, either!

The Mustang, X-Terra and the Sportster Custom are the wife's. I do like the Mustang for what it is, and I like it's styling, but it's not any competition for the Vette in any performance area. I do have the wife convinced to add some aftermarket goodies like wheels, lowering, exhaust. She loves it, which is what counts.

Nice Tractor....

I'm not sure if I'm getting it. Do you still have all your toys, or are you showing us what you lost?

If you've suffered a loss PM me. I'm scheduled to go into the area and assist with the coordination of the rebuild. I may be able to help.

Naaa, it's all bluster! Everyone loves their car best! I happen love ANY car that's cool! Absolutely no brand or make loyalty. That would restrict me too much!

I've had a blown '97 Mustang Cobra convertible pushing 500HP, several 1st and 2nd gen Camaros, a 3000GT VR-4 that was THE best damn wet weather car EVER, and a wicked 455 '78 Trans Am. They all were cool cars. I know lots of guys here are down on the Mustang, new or old, but it's still a cool car, and the sales of the new model prove it. Just like some Vette guys are down on Mustangs and Vipers, trying to prop up their egos, a lot of Ferrari/Porsche/Lambo guys are doing the same thing to Vette owners. It's all about showing the world how big your DIC is. Anyone putting down someone else's ride is simply stroking their own ego, I don't care about all that and it doesn't bother me at all when someone does it to me. I don't play that game, I'm a car guy.

In the end, it's just a car. I just like to have fun and go fast, you know? I save my ego for the bedroom!

I like the bike, too. Had a Shadow Spirit 1100 (also in black) until a few weeks ago...my slowing reaction time made me a little nervous after the third post-pubescent blonde with a cell phone nearly killed me on I25. My stable is down to the C6 and the Jeep Wrangler...

My wife believes cars go from A to B so she tolerates my car passion, though she loves road trips in the Vette. Glad she doesn't want one of her own.

This was the only loss during the storm.... thanks for your concern, though!

Well...you are correct, you have too many. Just shoot that firebird up here to me in NC and I will gladly accept it to do my part to control your car habit while feeding mine.
