'79 For Sale - San Antonio, TX - $7500
I've taken a job in California and won't be able to bring my Vette with me from Texas. Therefore, I'm putting my '79 up for sell. I bought it in 2000 and am the third owner. Since I've bought it, I've installed a early 90's LT1 383, rebuilt the TH350, installed all new accessories and numerous performance parts. Overall, I have more than $10K in the drivetrain/performance parts alone.
Although the drivetrain is as good as new, the cosmetics needs some work. The paint has began to "orange peel" all over the car, the driver side T-top was dropped and has a cracked corner, and the driver side door has a quarter sized ding on it. The interior is starting to show some age. The carpet was replaced by the previous owner, so it's OK. The door panels need repair or replacement.
I am asking $7500 FIRM.
*EDIT* See the link in the response below for pictures.
You can reach me at langhoff@tamu.edu.
Basics:
* Engine - Modern LT1 383 - RWHP 350, RWTQ 380 with < 1000 miles
* Transmission - Rebuilt TH350 with shift kit < 2000 miles
* All new engine accessories (radiator, pump, PS, alternator, fuel, brake booster, master cylinder, etc.)
* New BFG tires (< 500 miles)
Details:
1979 Corvette - 383 LT1 (modern) w/ 11.7:1 compression, GM Carbed Intake, Holley 750 DP, CC306 w/ 1.6 RR, Aluminum Heads "Stage II" ported w/ large valves, Hooker LT Headers, Dual Flowmaster Exhaust, 3.55 rear end, 2500 stall, TH-350 trans, K&N air filter, 160 deg thermostat, MSD 6AL, Meziere water pump
Thanks,
Jason

Good luck on selling your car. Sounds like you've made a lot of nice modifications to it. Too bad you can't take it with you.
It will be a nice project car (as far as cosmetics are concerned) for someone.

Would you take $7,499 for it? Just Kidding. Good luck. It'll sell eventually. There is always that one person out there looking for that 79. They just haven't found your site yet.
