Default Glutton for Punishment : Cover me, I'm going back in...

OK. So after 2 forays into Grond's A4 transmission, I finally nailed what I did wrong in the first place.

For the uninitiated, I removed my old B&M shift kit and installed a Transgo shift kit a few weeks... and lost 2nd gear in the process

And drove to Carlisle without 2nd gear...

So anyway, I just bought a bunch of GM parts (to the tune of $305 ) and I'm going back in. Wish me luck.

EG

You got it my friend, good luck. I rather think you don't need luck, since you have already been in there you just need to take your time.

So what was wrong in the first place? You're doing this work yourself? I without pulling the tranny i take it. more kudo's do you, i don't even know if i'd touch an automatic tranny, i'm afraid of pulling them in my garage, let alone tearing into one!

Grip it and rip it! While you're in there, add some neon to it.
