Default Wife scratched wheels! HELP!

My wife got a new car about 3 weeks ago. It is a Honda S2000. Anyways, she scratched the outer rim on both her front left and back left wheels. As a ZO6 owner, I have been on the forum for a while and remember someone saying there was a place that could repair wheels. If I could have someone do it locally that would be awesome, if not, I would have to send them in to get repaired. Does anyone know of such a place, or what I can do. Being a car guy it drives me crazy to have something wrong with a car. Even if it isn't my Z. Thanks for any help in advance.

Try on the S2k (Honda S2ooo forum) to by used wheels if yours can't be fixed. There are always some for sale because they are always Pimping their Rides...

That's true. It's most likely cheaper to buy a set of take-off's than if you had all four wheels refinished. Some people don't value stock wheels no matter how good they are.

Plus, even though these wheel refinishing shops (Transwheel is another choice) do a good job, it's never exactly like the factory finish.

I'd put a WTB out on the S2000 forums before I did anything with the wheel repair. Be sure to check the going rate in past wheels sales in the search engine before hand though so someone doesn't try to gouge you on price.

Also, check your local area. We have a place here in the Chicago area that will touch up wheels while they are on the car. I think it's under $50 as well. If the scratches aren't that bad, this might also be an option.

if its a new s2000 it will be cheaper to fix them as those wheels are very desired, if its an earlier s2000 u can get those wheels for next to nothing

A local place here in Nashville turned all four wheels for me for $100. It is amazing how much rash they can remove and the wheels look brand new!

Don't waste your time and money fixing the wheels. Sell the S2000 as is, and get a new wife.

Or do what I do, just let her screw up "her" car as much as she wants, she's the one driving it. It's usually cheaper to keep her.

I would suggest calling around to some high-end car dealers for info. Here in NJ, there are mobile services that can come to you and refinish wheels right on the spot. They can do very good work as hard as that seems to believe.
