Hurricane Relief Run from the New San Jose City Hall to Monterey (Laguna Seca)
The Hurricane Relief Run from the New San Jose City Hall to Monterey (Laguna Seca).
GOALS.
We get to support several worthy causes at once. The Hurricane Relief effort, support Corvette (General Motors) and a product that is “Made in America.”
How can you help? If you have a Corvette or any car for that matter, you have a moving highly visible bill board. Wax your car and put a removable vinyl race label on the hood or wherever you would like too. Choose the color you like and order a label now. It’s only a few dollars. See how much you can raise, as a Corvette owner.

This sounds like an incredible event. I'm very much looking forward to attending on Friday 10/14!
One Suggestion I would make is to head south on 280 instead of 101. The intersection of 101/85 is under construction and traffic will backed up at that hour of the morning. 85 and 280 shouldn't have any problems that time of the morning.
The caravan would be better cutting over from 101 to 280 on 380 or catch 280 to Daily City right off of 101 in SF ...or even go right from the Marina Green to 280 via Park Presideo. 280 will be a prettier drive as well easier to keep the cars together once on the freeway.

Or, if you are purchasing a, "Corvettes For Hurricane Relief," label, tell us, you did so.
I need to coordinate with the City of San Jose, as to the final count.
Example Given. My wife, "Teri," and I are attending.

$10. "The big ones are coming from Hill artwear design and are $10 without delivery. Call GIO at 510-372-6626." With your existing setup, you might consider a custom size for the nose of your car. I would suggest white, just like the C6R. Will be posting directions and articles soon. Steve will be posting video soon.

Steve(Vetterdster), myself, Troy, Tony, Motor Sport Image are also distributing labels at cost. I would buy some extras in various colors and put them in your trunk, sell them off at cost to new found Corvette friends. I had about fifty in my trunk a few days ago, now eight I think. Got to reload.

Looks like the weather will be clear and great next weekend.
It would appear that we have about fourty cars going so far to meet up with the other 500 in Corvette Corral.
We will be meeting in the Alberson's parking lot across the street for ease and convinence.
