maybe you could post all this info in the thread instead of links to it. I've had a handfull of threads get eaten up in the archives. I'd hate to see al the great info get lost.

Nice work though

Bad links in the 1SB section, the problem is the little dots...you must have "copied and pasted" the dots, too, from another location, so now the URL links are broken:

Hey Steve... a guy did a nice write-up and posted it over in General about how to create an MP3 CD that works in the C6. I think it's worth adding to the list:

No - there is no way with the stock HU.

Corrected - there is a group out of NY that does it but the screen quality is still questionable and expensive.

Default Still don't know which way to go....

I have read ALL these FAQs. There is some great info in here! Thanks to all that have taken the time to post their work and research. I still have a question on the best way to go.

I have a 2007 Coupe with NAV and Onstar. I want to keep the HU and have everything work as stock, but replace the Bose amp and speakers.

I have read conflicting info on the PAC AOEM-GM24 (good or bad?), tapping into the pre-amp outputs directly (no interface device), JL Cleansweep (pricey but works good), and even more options that are not mentioned here, like this interface device (which I used in my last vett 2002 Z06): AudioLink.

So from what I gather, I need to leave all the Bose amps and wiring in place to keep the functionallity stock, but can pull out the speakers. then (some how) tap into the outputs and go into my amps.

So what's the best way (best sound quality), to tap in and keep all stock functionality? Anyone?

The link http://www.discountave.net/adpacmoauine.html for the harness is no longer a working domain. Where else can I buy this harness?
