Default Jim Finnessey (Finn) Wins the ECSCC Tonight

Finn Was all smiles as he wheeled his yellow Z06 to his first ECSCC win....Jim faced our NEW points leader John Hadyniak in the final I didnt get to see the race so I dont know what happened... In the semis it was ME and John and I left first with a not so great .067 to john's .076 I was dialed for spin and I hooked a little better than my other runs and john was closer to his dial and I couldnt scrape off anuff.Anyhow Farley was taken out in the second round by MR. TONY B...Ralph was on a cruise and dropped to 4th... Panazzo and Korreck ran first round, win light goes to Mr. Korreck... Track succckked today..It was like ICE... Farley who never spins SPUN... Got to go to Bed... Good night

Hell, I don't have enough power to spin. Track seemed fine to me.

Congrats Jim on your win! The track was not at it's best after the morning event which made for some interesting runs.

Congrats again!

If anyone has anything to add to the write up, Please send it to me at RACING1320@AOL.COM
I also would like to know the name of the driver that lost his roof. I was told it was a red C3. Can anyone give me more info?
It would help if the drivers could send me who they raced in each round, what where the results and if there is anything to add.

Thanks

Congrats to FINN and John. You guys worked very hard to be in the final. Well deserved. You guys had to overcome the tire spin all day. It was also amazing that I am running drag radials on a slow car and I SPUN. I never spin. OH MY, A ZO6 went all the way to the finals on street tires. Go figure. Excellent job to both drivers. I am unable to post the write up untill Edgar adds some info. Edgar has the info for the awards and so on.

Ack!! I would be interested also - not morbid curiousity; we were just discussing hardtop attachment in C3.

red C3 vert? racing with ht? Haven't seen any of those for a while... was it a red top or black vinyl?

I couldn't find him in the drivers list(the 77 who lost his roof).

Track was hooking just fine for me.

Congrats to Finn for his win.

I was running against him. Red C3, number on the timeslip says 4799. I checked the Challenge racers and could find that number. He ran the rest of the day without any mishaps. He was on a good run though. Getting a 13.35 lifting. The corner of the top was damaged. Oh yeah, he was a young guy.

Tony, There's a Matthew Cornelison with a 1977 car #4799 listed in the 2004 racers.
