Get Julio and the guys to throw up the graph and pics of the system please

I can't wait to see what it looks like

Are you running stock Z06 exhaust manifolds? What about cats or just an OR xpipe?

Have you used a turbo blanket or heatwrapped the exhaust?

The dyno graph should be up soon .

Yes , the car has stock Z-06 cast exhaust manifolds .

I am not running any cats .

No turbo blanket , no heat wrapped exhaust at this time , if Cartek thinks heat is an issue , I'll have them address it .

I need someone with a digital camera to take some pics and post them .

So you have a Turbo C5, but no digital camera?

Looks like your priorities are in the right place.

Hope you make it up to NE dragway in September. I am having a forged 347 engine built with a F1 Prochrger strapped on as we speak. Should be some fast Vetts up there come race time. MUST SEE PICTURES OF CAR ... Who lives close by to Cartek, run on over and snap some pictures.

We may run the car in the extreme heat this week , it will be a good test for everything . I haven't actually seen the car since it's been running , I'll get to see it/drive it for one day this week , then I have to go out of town again .

STS is almost done with the complete intercooled twin turbo kit for the C5. I've been talking with a couple of guys at STS for months on this kit, as well as one for my SRT-10 Ram. (The Ram kit ships in a couple of weeks, and I'll have the first one! ) My rep at STS said that all of the plumbing is done, and is in the process of being coated.

I have a deposit with them for their first production unit. I'll start posting more once I receive the kit and begin the install. I'll probably have it optioned like my Ram, with a dual mode boost level + water/methanol injection.

If that weren't enough, the STS system for my wife's Escalade is already here. I'm going to try install this without her knowing (probabaly when I'm doing the suspension work), and prepare myself for the expression on her face the first time she mashes the go pedal!

I was able to drive the car for the first time last week before I left for the West coast , the car is f#$king awesome !!!!!!!! I barely got into boost due to traffic and the thrust from that turbo sets you back like a jet engine . It was 94-degrees and the car had excellent drivability . The car sounds wicked just cruising around .

I let Dave from Cartek take the car to the track on Sunday for it's maiden voyage down the track and some dial-in time , on it's first pass with conservative shift points and an extra safe tune it ran 10.2 at 133 without locking the converter and Dave lifted during the run . My emergency brake wasn't working so Dave couldn't hold the car to build boost without it creeping on the line and he only got a 1.7 60ft . On the second pass , the sprag in the transmission snapped just after the 60ft and that was it for the day .

The tranny should be fixed with an upgraded sprag by the end of the week , I'm confident the trans will hold this time .I'm looking forward to getting the gearing , converter and shift points dialed in so I can get the full potential out of this beast . Thanks to Cartek for building me another nasty set up

Thanks for the update.

Please keep us posted on how your STS/Cartek turbo setup compares to your N/A 441ci?

How does the power delivery compare?
Which would your prefer as a street car and why?
