Default [Event] Fall Skyline Drive Cruise 10/29/05

The fall cruise is scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2005. We will meet at the Jack Evans Chevy Used Car Lot on Commerce Ave in Front Royal, VA at 8:30 AM.

We will break up into small(er) groups like we have in the past so that we can hit more overlooks before lunch.

I have blocked 20 rooms at the Quality Inn again. This motel is directly across the street from the car lot where we meet. Call 540-635-3161, tell them you are with "The Corvette Club" and get your Friday night room for $56.63. If we need more then 20 rooms, they will honor the price as long as they have availability. (For the spring, we ended up with 30 rooms reserved, although half didn't show up due to the rain.) I did not get the cutoff date but it's probably September 29th. I'll get that info and post it.

I will update my Skyline Webpage shortly... And, I'll post more info as we get closer.

Mark your calendars!

If I am not in scenic (but chilly) Wisconsin for work I will be there! Heard so many positive comments I have to try it out.

Jim.......I'm a local yokal so if you need any help with arrangements let me know and I'll see if I can take care of something for you.

As a matter of fact, we are thinking about heading up to Big Meadow this afternoon to watch the sun go down.

See ya in October!

Jim, my wife and daughter-in-law (Barbara & Amy) have said they would be willing to help Linda with the registration on Saturday if she needs the help. Things appeared to go fairly smooth at the Spring cruise and I don't think they caused to much chaos with the registration. See everyone at the cruise.

Chaos? Not a chance! Registration never went so smooth...

Thanks! Linda will be quite happy to hear this...
