I can make an H2 hummer slay a stock Z06.
Hennesey was putting viper V10's in the back of PT Cruisers.
Anything can be done in the aftermarket with money.

So your worried about a car that weighs 2900lbs with a 4 cyl, and swapping in a heavier 8 cyl engine? Not to concerned about that.

WOuldn't it have to be converted to RWD? Mallett knows what they are doing. Also this is more like a Saleen deal rather than joes garage putting the motor in. It will be offered with a full warranty and sold through Pontiac and Saturn dealerships.

Well the best thing for the Solstice is the 2007 model that is going to get a turbo. I imagine that opens up all sorts of mod capabilities. I can't recall the supposed increase in power but it should be a nice improvement over the 2006 model. I really like the looksof this car though.

I am also among those above that think it's rather silly to see these posts about "after-market killers" of stock, DOT-legal, production cars. Hasn't it always been blatantly obvious that you can make ANYTHING go faster, if you're willing to fly under the legal radar screen and spend a ton of money......and, of course, if you're willing to give up warranty, reliability, and all sorts of other things.
The only fair comparison is stock car to stock car.
