Could you post the picture as a file so we could go to it and print it?
Wouldn't hurt to be able to show to some of the incapable mechanics we run into from time to time at the dealerships.

Jacking Chart -- how to save and print
Crowvette-- I posted the jacking chart on another site, don't remember where I found it. To save and print this just hover over the pic and right click. Choose "save picture as" or "print picture".

My eyes are not as good as they once were. I can tell where 2 and 4 are on the picture but I'm hesitant about where 1 and 3 are. It looks like 1, the preferred location, is the four circular annotations and 3 is the two areas on the left of the picture between # 4, the suspension locations. Is that correct?

If this diagram is correct, then when lifting the rear of the vehicle, it must be done one side at a time. Putting a floor jack in the center of the rear crossmember and lifting the entire rear is a no no. Also, the front can be lifted by a floor jack in the center, using the second crossmember (near the oil pan?) and not the first (mine doesn't reach that far).
There have been a few posts that do not following the jacking points in this diagram. Does anyone know where this diagram came from?
