14335 is the answer to your exhaust issues!
Guys, I had the 14335's installed yesterday. Kept my stock tips. $115 each for mufflers, and $100 labor, $20 tip. $350 total for an awesome sounds car.
I've had two corsa Indy pace systems on my vette, an 03' and 04', really wasn't quite happy with the money spent vs. sound.
This time, when I started the car up, it was like Christmas morning and getting your favorite toy. The exhaust sounds awesome.
Nice deep, loud start up. I have a stick, going through the gears, all I can say is , this is the way I would have wanted my corvette if I could have chosen prior to buying the car. The Indy system- motor boat sound. 14335 class, with muscle.
I do advise getting a good muffler shop to do your work. You need percision, cuts, welding.
Thanks to Scoti Muffler- Dover DE (great job)

I have them on my C6. For me, anything would be an improvement over the original exhaust. I couldn't see ripping out a brand new stock exhaust system worth at least 2 grand, and then spending $1,500 or so on a full replacement exhaust system. The Magnaflows sound great!

Stock mufflers are 2.5" in & 2.0" out.(stock tips are 2' OD!)
14335 mufflers are 2.25" in & 2.25" out.
14336 mufflers are 2.5" in and 2.5" out.
Magnaflows are $135 retail, $80 jobber, $54 dist cost. Make friends with a distributor!
I went with the 14336 and 2.25" double wall single tips that the installer expanded to 2.5". The installer didn't want to use the stock tips, too much restriction and they couldn't be expanded to 2.5". He didn't want to install single wall, rolled edge or chrome tips, he said they won't last. Tips are VERY EXPENSIVE, the ones I got retail for $87 each.

I like my car to look origional as possible so I kept my factor tips. The 14335's worked great. But if you're going to get this done, you have to have a good muffler shop do this. The muffler shop I went to was an 1 hour away, I had made my appointment, but since it was an hour away, I decided to stop at the local Midas. Man, after talking with them I was really disappointed. They stated "I wouldn't put those on there, it's too much cutting," "you should get the bolt on"" ect...
Scoti's muffler was so professional- they went right to it, and told me to relax it wouldn't be a problem. They enjoyed working on the new vette too.
As far as resonance--- I didn't expect the 14335's to be as loud as they are. When I started the car ( Whoa ),,, they sound awesome, I was very excited--- compared to when I started up my Corsa Systems-the first start with those systems I asked my self "is there really that much difference"-- with the 14335 there is a big difference. Cruise no resonance at all-- first and second gear sound awesome, but a little loud when you get on it. Sounds so much better then stock.
With the tops off, you don't notice the sound as much.
I like the sound much better then any other system that I've had.

14335- louder then Corsa Sports- sounds more like Corsa Touring/or the sound of a 5.0 mustang- except louder then the Corsa Touring. Touring is more muslce-deep sounding while Sports is more exotic sounding.

After reading a few posts on this issue and having had very good results with Magnaflow on my 96 Collectors and a couple trucks, I decided to put the 14335s on my C6 this morning. I had originally planned to go with the Corsa exhaust but figured with everything I was hearing here it certainly was worth a shot to try these anyway. Long story short.........THANKS for the great reviews on these mufflers!! Took a ride this evening and they absolutelyy rock under a load and are very quiet at cruising speed.....exactly what I was looking for. Paid $65 each on Ebay for the mufflers and $100 to have them installed with the stock tips......for what I wanted (basically a better sound) I consider that one hell of a bargain. Thanks to Lkicklight for the photos.
