Default Oil Pressure problem

I just had the oil changed last Friday and I drove it and the oil pressure would fluctuate between 90-125 psi. My dad took it for me and had it done so I don't know if it was pegging out before they changed the oil. What would cause this?

The oil pressure sensors go bad so frequently that it should be suspect. The symtoms are pegged pressure. The quick test to check this is to turn the key on but DO NOT start the engine. You will see the gauges cycle. Once they cycle, if you have a pressure reading, your sensor is bad. The logic is that you DON'T have any pressure when the engine is OFF.

There is a "tech tip" to replace the sensor:https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...=246&TopicID=1
