Lemans Blue is a premium paint with extra charge? Shows 470 TQ ... I thought it was 475.

Whats MSRP?

Stupid question but have you got a better feel about allocation? My dealer, you know the one, says he expects 6 - 10 Z06s. Someone there also stated that allocation may be skewed based on prior Z06 sales, not overall corvette sales. Sounds weird to me but who knows.

I have not heard anything else on allocation yet. It will most likely not be tied to previous Z06 sales because that was an open allocation for the last year or so. ( in other words it did not have it's own group like it did the first year it was out or it is going to have this year) My guess still stands as about a 1:6 ratio or vettes with soem of the smallest dealers not getting any. (Under 5 cars a year).

Speaking of your order did they call and let you know that you can come in and build your order now? It is available now to build and place the order in the system and have an order # to track it with.

Marvin

I did go in today to configure the car. They did not appear to know that order could go in. I told them about what I had heard but to no avail. Does your order going in now make any difference? They did not think that it would. I still think that they have only sold 6 Z06's as of today.

On another note, my car starting throwing a "service fuel system" error. When I bring it in to your dealership, I will look you up.

Marc

PS The car will be LMB/BLK with 2LZ

The order going in now or later will not make any difference. It will come down to allocation as to when they are built.

Default Why a 2.56 rear ratio for 6 spd auto? why not a 3.42 or more since you have more gear

2.56 won't this be a slug off the line?

Not if the transmission gearing is set up correctly, remember more gears mean more freedom in the areas of gearing/gear spacing.

You are looking at the RPO section of the order Guide which is common to all of the 2006 corvettes. It is showing the transmission for the Copue and Convert. which will be the 6 speed automatic with the steering wheel mounted shift controls.
