Default Lowering question?????Cutting bushings

Is it possible to cut the front bushings without removing anything suspension wise? I ve tried to take all of the weight off the spring with a second jack but cat get enough room to do any cutting.Any tips fpr me?

I unbolted the two bottom shock bolts and it let the arm fall a little bit farther. Enough to do the cutting. Thanks Greg.....

lots of info in the how to section here on the forum.I just want to go lower than what the adjustment bolt will allow.

Cut mine with a reciprocating saw. Took nothing off.
