Default Vette Doctors Better their own NA C5 Record 9.02@152!

Just got off the phone with Carmen and could not believe what I heard. John ran a 9.02@152 Naturally Aspirated while shaking down his Vette Doctor C5Rx 427 for the first time this season. Because this was the first time out, John was not running any spray and had a conservative NA tune loaded.

The car left hard (1.29 60 foot) but Carmen and Dennis believe their is more in the launch. They did not have the wheelie bars on and they just dialed her back a bunch since the first pass the car blew the tires away. The 9.02 pass was a decent pass considering the 80+ degree weather and very conservative NA tune.

Again for those of you who are new, John's car is a C5 Coupe which has a 9 inch rear with 4 link done by NRC Motorsports (bobby-rollbar). The motor is a Vette Doctors C5R block and head packagewith a Kinsler intake system. It is powered through a Powerglide tranny. the car is completely NHRA legal with Certified Cage, Chasis and Suspension with a full exhaust system with mufflers. A real nice job done by Bob and Jay from NRC Motorsports!

I can't wait to see this thing run with a 300 shot, better air, an aggressive tune and launch!

Their maybe a 7 sec pass in her yet!!!

Actually, Paul and few others including myself are looking to possibly do the same. Based on you reaction you may have lost a customer(s).

Default wow

you guys sure are touchy..... just stating Paul M. had a good look at the new suspension on Paul Z's car.

We are trying to make sure this package works as designed with this being the prototype it is slightly unfinished. I am sorry if I take pride in my work and don't wan't everyone to see it until it is completely tested and done... thank you....

I guess the new guy(myself) can't bust *****??

sorry....

Mikey, How's your Turbo car coming Are you having neverlift do the 12 bolt & cage too
guess I should be unhappy with this comment... c'mon guys...

again congrats on the 9.02 NA pass
