C5 rear caliper piston diameter?
Anyone know this? I tried searching already, but we know how well the search feature works.
Thanks!

1.75", just a single piston. The fronts are 1 9/16, but there are 2 of them.
that give you 3.835 sq inches front, and 2.405 sq inches rear piston area, 1.6 times more front than rear. This approximate ratio must be maintained for propper brake bias with single master cylinder setups.

What size bore is the stock C5 master cylinder? I installed these calipers with C5 rotors on my 1970 vette and with the stock C3 master (1") there was a lot of pedal effort required to stop the car.
David: what did you use for a master cylinder on the WC car? And was it Manual or Power?

I run a manual dual-master cylinder setup. In my old car, I used the stock pedals and added a tilton balance-bar setup. In the new car, I'm running a floor mounted pedal setup with the balance bar built in.
sorry, I don't have a stock master here to measure, but it is under an inch I think, maybe around 3/4?????
