Default LS1 head Mag #'s 515hp 487Tq

Just finished a Mag car with a non intercooled mag, an ECS 3.1 pully, a custom blower cam and an ECS Alky kit. The car is a 6 speed with headers and stock LS1 heads. We are waiting to try this on an LS6 engine to see what we can get.. The customer is flying in from Tennesse to pick up the car this weekend. We are sure he will be pleased with the results..

Hey Chris,

I have MAG with Intercooled system and 21 MC blower cam on a 2003 zo6 that you guys did last yr. Should I go for your ALKY kit? What kind of hp increase am I looking at? Cost? Thanks

Chris,

Those numbers you made with the non intercooled mag with the alky kit, were they flywheel horsepower or rearwheel horsepower?

Thanks

Ron

Nice numbers, so much for Maggie's needing intercoolers to make big numbers. It seems like the Alky is doing it and doing it safer.

No, he just needs to dyno it outside.

Exactly Don it slipped my mind that the dyno is inside now. I know it has nothing to do with the airflow to make the car breath better.
It all has to do with the fresh air outside to clear the cob webs in Chris's head from the night before.

Awesome. That truly sounds like a cost-effective alternative to a low-boost twin turbo C5 in power vs. refinement and a 427 NA in throttle response and the wide powerband of both.
