Default LED mods just keep on coming ... DU warning

Did the under hood light today. Got the LED bullbs at www.autolumination.com I had to rig an adaptor for the hood light socket ... but it worked great!

I soldered the wire ring to the bulb ends.

I used a blue, high temp sleeve on the halogen bulb prior, so you can see the differnence.

Holy cow these things are bright! 9 leds running!

For those like me, who have regular halogen bulbs in the rear view mirror ... these are spectacluar. I know I cheated and got ready made ones :o but what the hey ...

Thanks Gairno (Gary) for the suggestion. You knew I was gonna run with it!

CULookin (Rob) for always motivating other people like me by raising the standard.

They also have 194 and 3157 LED bulbs for our cars. I ordered the tail light ones, should be here next week. I'll post pix.

Keep 'um coming guys. Once I get out from under all the frozen white water and actually finish my Frost King/Dynamat Extreme/stereo install/slamming the front combo mod , I'll investigate this LED thing. The FIRST thing I want to do is the annoying orange light in the photochromatic rear view mirror!!

More pix guys???

Nice job! Modified my rear cargo LEDs tonight, as well as getting the button done for the trunk release/fogs....must be something in the air!

Thanks for the responses all. I was bored.

It's a #212 bulb, 44mm long with 9 LED's.
