F/S: Triple-Plated Chrome Alternator - Slightly Used
I'm selling a triple-plated chrome alternator. It also comes with a chrome pulley. This is the old style GM alternator and not what came on the later C5's with a clutch pulley. The alternator is off a 2001 car with 6K miles. The chrome is new and this unit has not been installed since. When the alternator was disassembled for chrome it was rebuilt back with new diodes, rectifier and bearings. It has been fully tested and I will warranty for 90 days of any failures. The chrome comes with a 3 year warranty against defects in workmanship or quality. I will sell the alternator for $450 plus UPS shipping & insurance. I will accept Paypal or money order. Email me at: dtsngit@bellsouth.net if you want to purchase or discuss.

Z06-JIM,
Yes it will work as your car has this style of ALT and single pulley on it. Your unit should look exactly like this one. Actually you could use the new GM ALT on your car but would just need the dealer to download software to stop "charging fault" error. Pop me an email and we'll work out arrangements (dtsngit@bellsouth.net).
Thanks,
Mike

jjk2509,
I guess it is your turn. The first reply decided against doing an ALT now. Email me at: dtsngit@bellsouth.net and we'll get things arranged.
