Default Build Your Own CLB

If you can solder, you can build your own. I just did...cost me $25 for parts! PM me if you're interested.

Been running my CLB now for several days....no column lock, no codes and my DIC is happy The CLB is a pretty simple device to simulate the column lock motor and send back a signal to the BCM to indicate that the command was executed. $50 for the aftermarket CLB seems a bit steep considering there's probably only $15 in parts and $10 in labor. I have a schematic, parts list, and the beginnings of instructions that I will email to CF members that want it. I also have access to parts since I'm in the Silicon Valley, so I can help you with that as well if needed. Now, if I only had a hosting website so I could post pictures and attachments on here....grrrr.

Ok....SpeedyZ (thanks Dale!) was good enough to host my files and also convert to .pdf for those of you that don't have Power Point. I've had an overwhelming response asking for the files. You guys are fearless when it comes to mods! Well, here you go:

I'm pretty sure there's a free Powerpoint viewer....at least there is for Excel and Word files.

Thank you Cscokd and SpeedyZ!
