I think there are 5 for sale at a dealer around here.

That is so awesome.

It is everything I like about my Z06 but... more.

More aggression. More raw. More naturally aspirated power.

Funny that I am actually considering the same thing... 13 Gen V Viper GTS at a huge discount ($35000 off sticker) or waiting for a C7Z... I'm back and forth literally every day

Congrats on the Viper... Fantastic car

SRT produced too many GTSs, not enough base models. The GTS seems to be discounted presently more than the base.

Beautiful ride to the OP. The TA is the hot ticket right now. As far as the Z...wish it had been out when I bought my 2013 srt base (track pack), 3 months ago. I would definitely have checked it out. Likely still gone viper but always nice to have more choices. Both are remarkable vehicles.

Are you serious!? Holy **** that's a big pile of cash on the hood. I realize sales have been bleak, but wow.

Correct, the GTS have a huge discount, base models have a little discount and the T/A has almost none. The dealer said Viper drivers care for power and not so much luxury in the GTS models and those were simply overpriced.

In addition I think that Vipers do not loose their value as bad as Corvette long term

Default OMG... no you didn't! :)

Its a beautiful car. Totally different than the ride and feel of the Z06 but as long as you're happy... that's all that matters.

I have my eye on your Z's SUPER WIDE BODY kit....

Same story here in Jacksonville Florida. Six at a dealer here with five of those six stuffed way in the back of inventory. One is a GTS stickered at $145,000.

I too went to the dark side but the opposite of you. Started back in 2002 when I sold my Boss 302 and bought a Final Edition Viper GTS #179. In 2007 I was diagnosed with MS and had to sell the Viper so we could purchase a 1 story home. The stairs had put me in the hospital 1 to many times. I missed not having a nice car so I bought a 2002 yellow C5 Convertible but it just didn't thrill me like the Viper so last year I bought my 06 black Z06. Just love it. No comparison to the 02 Viper. The Viper was beautiful but just not refined like the Z06. The Z06 would run circles around it but when I stopped for gas in the Viper it would get swarmed, the Z06 not so much but that is fine with me. Wish I could have kept all 3, the Boss, Viper and Z06. Here's some pics:
