Default Gumbys vs Standard rim weights

When the newer '08 forged rim (Gumby) came out last year, I remember reading that it was lighter than the base painted (silver or comp gray) wheel. Does anyone know the weight differences between the two.
Thanks,
Drew

I did weight them ... painted silver 2007 standard rim versus polished 2008 gumbys and I seem to remember the fronts were 3 pounds lighter and the rears 4 pounds, but I can not find my notes.

What are the "gumby" rims? 5 solid spoke or 5 split spoke design?
Thanks

Gumbys are the 2008/09 option 5-spoke wheels (polished in 2008/09, and chrome in very late 2008 and all 2009). The spokes are a bit wider at the rim than at the hub, and somebody thought they resembled the old Gumby character. They are forged aluminum versus the standard cast aluminum.

Now we just need to determine exactly what the standard 2008/2009 'split 5 spoke' rims weigh and if they weigh more or less than the standard 2007 (aka: 2005-2007) rims.

Lug nuts are closer to the center hub with older rims. Not sure about the weight difference.

I thought the lug nut "bolt circle" was the same on all C6's and Z06's? The wheels all bolt on the same and interchange.

I should have been clearer. Bolt pattern is the same but the design of the rim is different so the holes end up in a different part of the newer design. Someone will probably post a photo of each rim so the difference will be obvious.

True, they are.
I think he'd meant that they appear to be closer or that the circle/ring that surrounds the bolt holes gives the illusion that the bolts are closer/further between the two rim styles.
Or maybe not.
