Lingenfelter Performance Engineering News!
I just wanted to let the forum members know about some recent changes at Lingenfelter. LPE Assets an LLC owned by Ken Lingenfelter and an affiliate of Metropolitan Motor Sports LLC, announces today that it has acquired Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE) from an unrelated third party. With this acquisition, Lingenfelter intends to continue and build on LPE's worldwide track record in performance engineering. Click here for the full story.

As stated above it is the very same Ken. A friend of mine has done a great photo essay of his collection over the last 2 years.

The article in Corvette Quarterly was titled "The Other Lingenfelter"
It went on to state that this "ken" is not directly related to the Lingenfelter's. He's some rich guy with a passion for cars.
I was able to Google this for you.
This is the private collection of one individual named Ken Lingenfelter. By special arrangement the Michigan Chapter has arranged for Motor City Regional participants to view this collection during a Wine and Cheese party on the evening of Friday, May 16th. Normally these cars are not available for public viewing at any time. This collection of over 150 cars contains some of the most expensive and exclusive cars ever available.
Currently we have Reeves Callaway scheduled to attend as our special guest and speaker. Other Corvette dignitaries are also slated to appear.
Ken is not affiliated with the late John Lingenfelter. They just happen to share a love of great cars and the same last name.

He doesn't own 150, but south of that significantly. They were related, but were not joint together in business previously.
As an auto enthusiast, the first time I met him he wondered if he should spell out his name, and I think he was a little surprised I knew it quite well.
