F/S: 2006 Black on black Z06 $50K
The price has been lowered to an ABSOLUTELY FIRM!!! $50K.
KBB for excellent is $59k, good is $55k. The car is virtually flawless, my dad loved it. It has had the roof panel replaced per the recall. Any other details I can get for you later this week when I am in CA, the car is near the Bakersfield area.
Due to my father's recent and tragic death, we are forced to sell his 06 Z. It is black on black, about 30k miles and has brand new tires. The car has the DVD navigation setup and pretty much every other option other than chrome wheels (I believe they are just polished)
I don't know how skeptical you guys are about new people posting things for sale, but I will tell you that I joined this site only on the hope of finding someone who will love this car as my dad did. I don't have the means nor is it practical for me to keep this car. I wish I could. I enclosed a link to the ls1gto.com forum where I originally posted, since I am better known over there. I am hoping to have the VIN posted by the end of the day.
This is no scam, just hoping to sell my dad's car to a corvette lover.
Thanks,
Ben Farrell
P.S. Any questions, feel free to call me at (414)807-6994

The car is currently being held for us by David Stone, the owner/operator of Merle Stone Chevy in Porterville,CA (about 1 hour north of bakersfield, or 1.5 hours south of Fresno) The price is $50k, no tire kickers...only contact if you mean BUSINESS. The car has BRAND NEW tires on it as of 2 days ago (only put about 15 miles on them) It has 33,6xx miles on it. The only thing wrong with the car is that there is one small flatspot in the right front wheel, probably from a pothole. The warranty is still good until 1/24/09 (which oddly enough would have been my dad's 54th birthday) or 36011 miles. If requested I can run a VIS sheet for interested parties.
Thanks,
Ben Farrell

It sucks to let it go for that, but it is kinda the reality of the "used" corvette market right now. It isn't exactly a good time to be selling his house either, but then again you can't always plan for economic slumps, or an unexpected death.
The only thing is the car has to go through the probate process, so it will be probably 40-45 days before it is available for purchase. We need our executor to be appointed to get the car's title into our name.
Thanks for all the interest/positive replies.
